# 1 - Overview

Personal Settings control your CADLY preferences, public profile, connected accounts, subscription, and account security. These settings belong to your CADLY account rather than one Discord server.

Use the **Profile** tab to choose what appears publicly. Use the **Connections** tab to link or unlink external accounts.

# 2 - Connections

## 2.1 - Roblox

Roblox is your primary game identity across CADLY. Verification, ER:LC player matching, Dispatch, and other game-aware features can use this connection.

Open **Settings > Connections** and choose **Link Account**. After Roblox sign-in, CADLY returns you to Settings and shows the connected username and Roblox ID. Unlinking removes the account from your CADLY identity until you link again.

## 2.2 - GitHub, Spotify, and Steam

GitHub, Spotify, and Steam are optional profile connections. Choose **Link** beside a provider, complete its sign-in flow, and return to CADLY. Use **Unlink** to remove a connection you no longer want associated with your profile.

If a provider cannot complete the connection, return to **Settings > Connections** and try again. CADLY reports success only after the account has been saved.

## 2.3 - Moving a Roblox Connection

One Roblox account can be connected to only one Discord account at a time. If the selected Roblox account belongs to another Discord account, CADLY shows the Roblox identity and asks you to confirm the move.

Confirming removes the previous connection, links Roblox to the Discord account you are currently signed in with, and sends the previous Discord account a security notice. You can cancel to keep the existing connection. CADLY requires a ten-minute wait after the account's most recent verification before it can be moved.

# 3 - Public Profile

Your Discord identity remains part of your CADLY profile. Linked Roblox, GitHub, Spotify, and Steam accounts have separate visibility controls.

## 3.1 - Connection Visibility

In **Settings > Profile > Connections**, choose which linked accounts appear on your public profile, then save the profile. Roblox is visible by default. GitHub, Spotify, and Steam stay hidden until you opt in.

Hiding a connection does not unlink it. Unlinking removes it from CADLY and from the public profile.

# 4 - Troubleshooting

## 4.1 - The Correct Roblox Account Is Already Connected Elsewhere

Sign in to the Discord account that should own the connection, link Roblox again, and review the transfer confirmation carefully. If CADLY says the account was linked recently, wait for the stated retry period and try again.

## 4.2 - A Connection Does Not Appear Publicly

Confirm the provider is linked, enable its visibility under **Settings > Profile > Connections**, and save the profile. Refresh the public profile after the save completes.
