- What is the CADLY dispatch and CAD system?
- CADLY Dispatch is a browser-based computer-aided dispatch system for roleplay communities. Dispatchers can organize calls and units, monitor activity, and coordinate units from a shared real-time interface linked to the ER:LC in-game server via the ER:LC API.

- How can I choose between dispatch and moderation features?
- CADLY offers two types of servers at setup: Host servers and Department servers. Host servers (e.g., Los Angeles Roleplay) are for main community servers looking for staff management and moderation tools. Department servers (e.g., Los Angeles Police Department) are for connected departments that want to use dispatch and CAD features while sharing the same API data from the host server.
- Does CADLY link to the ER:LC API?

- Can I make custom automations with CADLY?
- Yes. CADLY's Action Engine allows staff to create custom automations using easy-to-understand blocks instead of writing code, making it simple to create custom automations to fit your server's needs. In fact, the CADLY Action Engine is the oldest active automation system for ER:LC communities, and it's completely free.
- How do I make an Action Engine automation?
- All automations need to start with a trigger Event block. These can be in-game events (a player joining) or Discord events. They also need an Action block to perform an action (send a message, create a log, etc.). You can also add Conditions to check for specific criteria before performing an action. Miscellaneous blocks can be used to add additional functionality. The Action Engine is visual and easy to use, and you can find guides in the CADLY documentation.
- How do I get my department server token?
- To get your department server token, you need to contact your host server owner (this could also be you). On the Host server, go to 'Departments' in settings and generate a department invite token. Insert this token into the department server under general settings to connect the department server to the host server. This allows the department server to use dispatch and CAD features while sharing the same API data from the host server. The host server must approve the linkage after the token is inserted.
- Can I manage my staff's permissions in CADLY?
- Yes. CADLY provides a comprehensive permission management system that allows admins to define and control user access levels and privileges across different features and functionalities. You can lock dangerous functions like session management to high-ranking staff or allow lower ranks to manage infractions and logs.
